a list of animals that i like so that i can keep track of them ^_^

bats

bats are my favorite animal :) here are some specific bat species i like:

• palid bat
• desert long-eared bat

mammals

• pallas cat
• golden jackal
• domestic cat

sea creatures

• pufferfish
• orca
• whale shark

birds

• standard-winged nightjar- my favorite bird
• piping plover- i like a lot of other shorebirds, such as sandpipers, as well!
• northern pygmy owl- they have markings on the backs of the heads that look like another set of eyes.
• snowy owl
• sand martin
• bald eagle
• white-tailed tropicbird
• black-necked stilt

there are also certain birds that scare me (in a funny way) because they look really uncanny

• spectacled eider- eiders in general really freak me out
• albatross- only when their black eye markings obscure the shape of their eye
• cock-of-the-rock- you can probably tell why
• potoo- ^
